And…..we’re back!

Friday, January 8th, 2010

Back in the saddle here in NYC. Holidays were great, we had Thanksgiving at our friends Jesse and Jason’s house, went on Santacon, and went to Newfoundland for Christmas:

Then! We went to the Poconos for an excellent New Years away from it all with a great, awesome bunch of folks:

2010 is already shaping up fantastically. I’ve started Voice-Over lessons with Bruce Kronenberg of Marla Kirban Voiceovers (it’s about time!) And MJ and I are remounting Anaphylaxis (2003 winner of the Seattle Fringe Festival’s “Artistic Pick”) this March!

The Fabulists

And you’re invited!

In February, The Fabulists made their debut with “Boil My Bunny: a
Valentine” — The house was packed, the drinks were flowing, the music
and performance and burlesque acts were poppin’, and we all had a
very, very good time.

Next weekend, for two nights only, join us for the next incarnation of
our episodic party/performance:
“Dieciséis (y Diecisiete) de Mayo”!

Viva Mexico! There will be drinks! Treats! Music! A piñata! Special
appearances by burlesque stars Della Dare (Queen of the Double D’s)
and Rosey La Rouge (the girl with the rosiest cheeks of them all)!
And over-the-top, blow-out-the-pipes numbers with Busty Springfield,
Charo, T.Lo and MJ, and a company of simply stunning Fabulists.

There will also be post-performance DJs!
Sat. 16th, D_Juice will lay down a fabulous blend of warm beats and
Balkan-inflected house.
Sun. 17th, DJ Shane will take us on a sonic adventure.

Doors open an hour before the show. 9 pm show on Saturday, 8 pm on
Sunday. Drinks and dancing before and afterward.
$15.

Seating is limited.
For tickets please email reservations@thefabulists.com.
